Off-Road Branding
Ignite Offroad needed a branding system that could hold up in the off-road and motorsports industry. Our goals were:
Create a bold, edgy, action-sports-inspired identity
Ensure every logo in the suite worked across merch, decals, product applications, social, and web
Build a mark that felt custom and unique, not another generic skull, but something recognizable from any distance

Their brand needed to hit both audiences they serve:
Off-road vehicle owners
Motorsports and action-sports culture
So we built their entire logo system around that custom flame-skull icon, gritty, aggressive, and bold.
Ignite Offroad’s visual identity leans heavily into:
Bold geometric typography
Distressed textures
Strong badge shapes
A custom-designed skull with flames
A look and feel that fits right in with off-road culture, SEMA energy, and action-sports brands

The Creative Process
We starting with rough thumbnail sketches and moved through into digital refinement:
Thumbnail sketching for overall composition
Building shapes, angles, and badge forms
Creating the custom skull + flame icon
Digitizing everything in vector
Exploring multiple badge layouts
Refinement of spacing, weight, balance
Adding texture, distressing, and final typography
Exporting a full logo suite ready for any use
By the end, they had a complete brand identity system with:
A primary badge
Secondary logos
Stand-alone icon
Typography lockups
Vector files for every application
Everything they needed to represent the brand consistently across all gear, vehicles, and marketing.

Why This Project Was Fun
I grew up around motorsports and action-sports culture in southern California. Dirt bikes, off-road rigs, racing graphics, motocross branding always hits home. Designing bold, high-impact logos is something I genuinely love doing, and the Ignite Offroad skull icon instantly became one of my favorite marks we’ve created in this space.
