Ace In The Hole Archery came to us through a referral from another client. They’re an archery pro shop based in Nevada, run by passionate bowhunters who needed a brand identity that felt timeless, rugged, and tied to the heritage of hunting and the wild west.
The goal was to stay away from anything trendy and focus on a theme and direction that resonates with archers and hunters who live in the west.

The Creative Direction
Goal:

Bowhunters and archers.

The Concept
The name Ace in the Hole comes from poker, meaning a hidden advantage, or the card up your sleeve that ensures the win.
We pulled that meaning directly into the brand identity.
The primary logo features a bandit at full draw, a visual nod to the Wild West and the idea of having the “ace” ready when it matters.
Typography pulls from vintage western signage.
Hidden spades are used throughout the branding, the arrowhead is literally a spade, connecting the name, the theme, and the design.
A brand built on detail and precision, just like archery.
